The Brompton C Line Electric e-Motiq with SuperRoll+ takes everything that makes the classic C Line such a brilliant everyday folding bike and adds Brompton’s latest generation of electric assistance.
At the heart of the bike is the new e-Motiq system, combining a compact 250W rear hub motor with intelligent torque sensing. Rather than simply switching the motor on and off as you pedal, the system responds to how much effort you’re putting in, adding assistance smoothly and naturally. Three assistance levels let you choose how much help you want, whether you’re cruising across town or tackling steeper hills.
The removable 345Wh battery provides up to 90km (56 miles) of assisted riding, while the new handlebar control puts assistance level, Start Assist and range information within easy reach. The system also works with the Brompton Electric App, providing ride information and increasingly personalised range estimates as it learns how you ride.
You still get the familiar Brompton advantages: a beautifully compact fold, durable steel frame and straightforward 4-speed drivetrain. But this version also includes SuperRoll+, adding the Roller Frame and four-wheel rolling system. Once folded, the bike is noticeably easier to push, pull and manoeuvre through stations, offices and shops.
