The Team GB special edition comes in a stylish red lacquer (never seen before on a Brompton), with gloss white and blue extremities.
The best-selling M Type handlebar makes for a great ride position, keeping the head up to explore the city. 6 speeds makes all city inclines a breeze, and ready for an escape to the hills (the Okutama mountains for a city escape from Tokyo perhaps?).
Limited strictly to 2020 numbered units worldwide, this special edition is finished with special Brooks saddle and Lion Graphic bag (perfect for training kit and equipment, or your laptop and lunch).

The Brompton Team GB Edition
You won’t see Brompton bikes in the omnium, or the team pursuit, or, for that matter, any elite races. But you might spot them in the Athlete’s village, between venues, or in the corner of the training gyms. And not just ridden by athletes, but also by their support and logistics crews. A Brompton makes getting around busy urban areas more efficient.
Since 2008 when Sir Chris Hoy saddled up on a Brompton for the Closing Ceremony in Beijing to handover the Game so London, Brompton has had an on-going relationship with Team GB. Starting in 2012, supplying dozens of bikes for athletes to use at Summer and Winter Games, making zipping between venues, training centres and The Athletes' villages a breeze.
We know what it is like to have a singular focus on perfection. We’re obsessive about detail and the relentless improvement of one design. We’re about quality, in an endless pursuit of excellence, and proudly made in London.
Our bikes won't bring home medals, but they might help Team GB athletes to. Since the postponement in March 2020, Brompton have supported athletes with bicycles so they can go about their business being champions.
Tokyo 2020, in 2021, marks a moment of coming together and pushing on. A royalty will be paid from every bike sale to the British Olympic Association to help support current and future Team GB athletes.
