The Brompton T Line Electric takes the lightweight engineering of the T Line and adds electric assistance without losing the character that makes the bike so special.
At its heart is a full titanium frame, paired with carefully selected carbon and lightweight components. The result is an electric folding bike that remains genuinely easy to carry – particularly useful if your journey includes trains, stairs, offices or anywhere else where a heavier e-bike quickly becomes hard work.
Brompton’s latest e-Motiq electric system uses a compact rear hub motor with intelligent torque sensing to provide smooth, natural-feeling assistance. Three assistance levels let you choose how much help you want, while the removable 345Wh battery provides a claimed range of up to 90km depending on terrain, rider weight and assistance level.
The handlebar-mounted control keeps the important functions within easy reach, including assistance level, Start Assist and range information. The system also works with the Brompton Electric App, providing ride information and increasingly accurate range estimates based on how you use the bike.
Where the Electric T Line really stands apart is portability. Remove the battery and you're left with a remarkably light electric Brompton that's much easier to lift and carry than most folding e-bikes.
For commuting, mixed bike-and-train journeys or simply anyone wanting the lightest and most sophisticated electric Brompton, the T Line Electric sits firmly at the top of the range.
