It's lovely to see a proper mountain bike for children that's light and lovingly put together by a company that really knows what they're doing. It has a lightweight front suspension fork that can be set up to suit rider-weight and powerful disc brakes. It's fully capable of going off-road.

    My son absolutely loves his Frog 62 MTB. They're at the pricier end for a kids bike but they are the real deal. The overall weight of the bike is a lot lighter than most kids MTB's and the air fork is brilliant; it's properly adjusted to the weight of a small rider so its active all the time unlike the cheap suspension forks bolted onto many kids bikes which are only really there for aesthetics. We've used it all over the place and its been great watching his off-road skills develop. 5 stars all the way, and great service from the guys at Avon Valley Cyclery too.

    Really light for going uphill, excellent balance and long giving kids the confidence to descend at a good speed and good quality brakes for stopping. Only slight quibble over the tyres but only because they are a bit narrow for really muddy trails
