About us
We are an independent bike shop in the centre of the Georgian city of Bath, established for over 30 years. Here you will find an extensive range of bikes featured in store and online, as well as a full range of cycle clothing and accessories. Additionally we have a range of demo bikes available, enabling comparison of your options alongside our knowledgeable staff, who are there to guide you through every step to guarantee you get the perfect bicycle and accessory package for your cycling needs.
We are spread across two stores, which are both located in the centre of Bath. Our main store in The Vaults, next to Bath Spa Railway Station, as well as our Little Southgate store can be seen on the map below.
The Vaults / Bath Spa Railway Station Store
Our main store in The Vaults, stocks predominantly bicycles and components to suit every type of cyclist. This includes folding, tandem, hybrid, road, mountain and children's bicycles. We stock a huge range of bicycle brands, to include Brompton, Cube, Giant, Charge, Whyte, Pashley, Moulton and many more.
Our store comprises a large shop premises and fully equipped workshop, as well as stock room containing a diverse supply of spares, suitable for modern and classic bicycles. Furthermore, our store commonly holds many bicycle accessories- to include luggage, lighting and safety equipment, as well as bicycle maintenance equipment. This shop is also where our sales staff process our online orders.
Here at Avon Valley Cyclery we have the capability to build wheels and bespoke bicycles at your request. This is done by our professional, highly qualified mechanics who assemble, modify and repair bikes on a daily basis. All bicycles that leave our front door are fully serviced and furthermore, your bicycle is entered onto a free lifetime servicing plan.

Although rare, there are occasionally instances where we will not have quite the right size or product to suit your needs. Through our suppliers, we have access to a huge range of bicycles and accessories that we do not have the capability to fully list on our website or stock in our store.
